Project Overview
Our team was approached to create the BHG Culture Compass as part of a broader internal initiative to unify and articulate the company’s core values. With rapid growth and new team members joining across departments, leadership saw a need for a clear, engaging resource that could help reinforce BHG’s culture company-wide.
This project spanned several months and involved close collaboration between Creative Directors, Creative Leads, Marketing Coordinators, and the internal design team. The goal was to produce a guide that was  inspiring and reflective of how culture shows up in everyday work. The result was a thoughtfully designed resource used during onboarding, team meetings, and internal communications.
Creative Process
The development of the Culture Compass was a collaborative effort, beginning with input sessions across departments to understand how different teams viewed BHG’s culture. I contributed to brainstorming and sketching sessions to translate those insights into visual form, then designed layout drafts that evolved through multiple review rounds. Feedback from Marketing and leadership helped shape a guide that was both aspirational and practical, one employees could genuinely connect with.
Concept
At its core, the Culture Compass was designed to serve as a visual and narrative map for what it means to work at BHG. The concept revolved around the idea of alignment, helping employees understand how individual behaviors and team dynamics contribute to the broader culture. Visually, we used clean typography, custom illustrations, and band familiar layout structure to convey clarity and consistency. The tone was confident and motivating, echoing the inclusive and driven culture BHG is known for.
